2025 Santa's Workshop Registration

Santa Claus is coming soon to town! Join us on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025 at the Imagination Station for the Vail Recreation District's annual Santa's Workshop. Reserve your time slot from 3 to 7 p.m. so your little ones can tell Santa their holiday wishes, and take a photo that we'll print for you!

New This Year

For 2025 the cost per child is $10; children under one year old are free. To reserve your visit with Santa, visit www.register.vailrec.com and choose Santa's Workshop from Programs>Community Events. You will then select ONE of the available 10-minute time slots AND each child that will be visiting Santa.

Also new this year, paint a take 'n' bake holiday pottery tile to bring home! Additionally, children can design a picture frame and write a letter to Santa before or after their Santa visit. Please arrive at the beginning of your reserved time slot or arrive earlier to participate in the holiday crafts before visiting with Santa.

We will again be offering a holiday-themed coloring contest to all registered families during Santa's Workshop. We will select one winner who will receive a prize, and their artwork will be used as the 2026 postcard to write letters to Santa next winter! The winner will be notified on Friday, Dec. 5. They will have until Wednesday, Dec. 10 to pick up their prize.

The Vail Recreation District will host the annual U.S. Bank Vail Ugly Sweater Fun Run on Dec. 14, which is a family-friendly fundraiser for the Community Market and local toy drives. If you would like to donate non-perishable food items or new toys to the fundraiser, there will be a donation box at Santa's Workshop in the Imagination Station.

Vail Recreation District's Imagination Station is located above the Lionshead Welcome Center, on the south side of the Lionshead parking structure and on the Town of Vail's free in-town shuttle system. The Imagination Station offers year-round opportunities including art and science projects and new virtual reality experiences.
