2026 Santa's Workshop Registration - coming soon!

Santa Claus is coming soon to town! Join us on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2026 at the Imagination Station for the Vail Recreation District's annual Santa's Workshop. Reserve your time slot from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. so your little ones can tell Santa their holiday wishes, and take a photo that we'll print for you!

Registration

• Cost is $10 per child; children under one are free.
• To register, visit www.register.vailrec.com, select Santa's Workshop from the Activities list, and reserve ONE 10-minute time slot for your family.
• Be sure to register each child visiting Santa during the time slot.

Crafts

• Santa's Workshop includes a take 'n' bake holiday pottery tile, picture frame decorating and letters to Santa!
• Arrive early to enjoy the crafts before your scheduled visit, or participate afterward. Please be ready to visit Santa at the start of your reserved time slot.

Coloring Contest

• All registered children can also participate in our holiday coloring contest!
• One winner will receive a prize and have their artwork featured on the 2027 Letters to Santa postcard.
• The winner will be notified Dec. 4 and must pick up their prize by Dec. 9.

U.S. Bank Ugly Sweater Run

• The Vail Recreation District will host the annual U.S. Bank Vail Ugly Sweater Fun Run on Dec. 13, which is a family-friendly fundraiser for the Community Market and local toy drives.
• If you would like to donate non-perishable food items or new toys to the fundraiser, there will be a donation box at Santa's Workshop in the Imagination Station.

Vail Recreation District's Imagination Station is located above the Lionshead Welcome Center, on the south side of the Lionshead parking structure and on the Town of Vail's free in-town shuttle system. The Imagination Station offers year-round opportunities including art and science projects and new virtual reality experiences.
