Men's Silver is currently full at 12, we are taking teams in groups of 2, up to 16 teams. Sign up on the waitlist and once we have a 2nd team will push it through, thank you!
Vail Recreation District and Vail Valley Soccer Club unite in welcoming the top men's and women's teams from across the country to one of the toughest tournaments in the Rocky Mountains.
Games are played throughout Vail, EagleVail and Edwards. Spectators are welcome and volunteers are always sought for the event.

- $1500 cash prize for the Men's and Women's Gold Champion
- $1000 cash prize for the Men's and Women's Silver Champion

- $800 per Silver Men's & Women's Division team
- $925 per Gold Men's and Women's Division team
- ($50 discount if registered by 4/15/2025)
Refunds must be received by 6/26 to get a refund minus a $25 handling fee

Tournament Special – 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Company
After the matches, be sure to visit 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Company in Vail Village.
Tournament players, families, and fans who mention they are in town for the Fred Ammer Vail Invitational will receive two-for-one cocktails or whiskey tastings on their first round.

World Cup Final – Community Viewing Event
On Sunday during the World Cup Final, the Town of Vail will be hosting a public viewing on the lawn at Gondola One. Restaurants will be serving food and drinks throughout the event.
We encourage teams, families, and visitors to attend and enjoy this exciting global event together in the heart of Vail. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating.
We will continue to share additional opportunities and updates as we approach the tournament weekend.

How to Register
Must register by July 1, 2026. All teams must have US Soccer Player Passes. If you need passes, fill out the attached form, email it to sports@vailrec.com, no later than 6 p.m. on Thursday

- From Vail Fields, head east on Frontage Road. After the road goes under the highway, turn left on Katsos Ranch Road next to bus stop.

Dear Team Manager:
The Vail Recreation District and Vail Soccer Club are pleased to have your team in the 42nd Annual Vail Invitational Soccer Tournament. Please set aside July 18-20th for the event. There will be a few games on Friday evening and then we will be starting games at 8 or 8:30 a.m. on the weekend. Every Gold and Silver Division team will play three pool games. Both the Silver and Gold Divisions will take the top two teams from each pool to the playoffs. Attached is a complete package containing the tournament rules, a roster form (must be turned in at the first game), directions to all fields, and a schedule (if there are any changes I will be in touch).
Finally, please do not forget to bring all player passes with you, because you must present them prior to every game. Any player without a current US Soccer Organization pass is ineligible to play. Please remember four guest players are allowed, they also must have a valid player pass from their team.
