Join us at the Vail Nordic Center and the Grill on the Gore on Friday, March 20, for the First Annual Spring Fling Ski & Supper — a festive evening on the trails followed by a delicious dinner to welcome the first day of spring!
Celebrate spring’s official arrival with a scenic Nordic ski, snowshoe or fat bike ride on our groomed trails, then gather with friends old and new for a cozy meal prepared by Chef John Zavoral. It’s the perfect blend of fresh mountain air, community connection and great food!

- Evening ski, snowshoe or fat bike on the Nordic trails
- 6–7:30 p.m.
- Dinner buffet served

Cost & How to Sign Up
At $159 per person, this all-inclusive experience covers rental equipment, trail time, buffet dinner and chef-attended carving station, a Prosecco toast and non-alcoholic beverages.
Spots are limited and preregistration is required by Sunday, March 15. Be sure to reserve early to secure your place at the table! To sign up, please call the Vail Nordic Center Pro Shop at 970-476-8366. The Pro Shop is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you call outside of business hours, please leave a name and phone number and a staff member will call you back to confirm your reservation.

Payment will be due at the conclusion of the event.

Parking for Grill on the Gore customers is free at the Vail Golf & Nordic Clubhouse. The Grill on the Gore is also accessible via the Clubhouse stop on the Golf Course loop of the free Town of Vail bus system. View a bus schedule.

The Grill on the Gore, located in the Vail Golf & Nordic Clubhouse, is the perfect place to gather with friends and family. Open to the public and boasting the most spectacular mountain views of any Vail restaurant, the Grill on the Gore offers a creative take on American comfort food.
In the winter, the Grill on the Gore restaurant in the Vail Golf & Nordic Clubhouse offers a signature soup and chili lunch daily, as well as specialty hot drinks and a full bar to warm up and recharge.
In the summer, check out our signature lunch and ápres golf dishes, featuring delicious hand-crafted salads, sandwiches, appetizers and desserts. Specialty cocktails and a diverse craft beer selection are also available daily to enjoy after a round of golf or a hard day's work.
