Encouraging trail stewardship in partnership with Hardscrabble Trails CoalitionVail Valley Mountain Trails Alliance

The Vail Rec District is a proud supporter of the Eagle County trails and the organizations that work hard to maintain them. It is important to remember that riding and racing on world class trails is a privilege and our trails do not build or maintain themselves. This year during the 2023 Bloch & Chapleau Mountain Bike Series, riders can earn an additional 25 points towards their overall series total if they participate in one trail work event prior to August 29. In order to be considered, participants must snap a photo of themselves during the event and tag the Vail Recreation District Facebook page as well as either the VVMBA or the HTC Facebook page (depending on the host). For more information, please contact Beth Pappas or call the VRD Sports Department at 970-479-2280. Upcoming events hosted by the VVMBA and the HTC are listed below.
