Limited to the first 90 participants Dobson Arena hosts an exciting youth hockey camp every July. Bob Johnson Hockey School has become as annual reason for many families to vacation in Vail in the summer. The camp focuses on the fundamentals of hockey and offers three hours of on-ice instruction with an additional hour of instruction off the ice. Coaches include Mark Johnson, head coach of the 2010 Women's Olympic Ice Hockey team silver medalist and also a player on the 1980 Olympic Team who pulled off the Miracle on Ice.
Vail Recreation District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
